Good-lookin' boys!

A good friend of mine just took these pictures of my boys this past weekend. I haven't had any professional pictures taken of the boys for awhile so it was fun to have these done and have updated pictures. They have all grown so much....but especially Parker. He has filled out over the last 9 months or so and makes a continual loop from the fridge to the pantry to the other fridge to the other pantry....over and over when he is at home. He just turned twelve and became a deacon so I wanted a "dressy" picture to honor his new calling.

Even though I am his mom and I am partial....I have to say he is quite a handsome young man.

Then there's this little guy! He lost a bottom tooth, then the top teeth and asked if we would start calling him "toothless" from now on. He has gotten so big and is almost finished with kindergarten! That make me sad! Time really flies.

Last....but never least is Carter! Always the life of the party. He will be ten at the end of the summer and is just about finished with 3rd grade. There is never a dull moment with Carter around. We are so blessed to have these sweet (ok...I use that term a little loosely), how about wonderful, boys in our family.
I have more pictures to upload...but my computer was giving me fits....so check back for some color photos too! Also, check out my friends blog at http://www.cindergirlphotography.blogspot.com/

Worst blogger in the world....

Yes, that would be me! I was really "gung-ho" when I started this blog....then the reality of my life took over!!! Well, I really want to make up for lost time and do some "back-blogging" if that is even a term. My real reason for starting this blog was to have it as a photo-journal of our life...since I can't seem to get my regular scrapbooking anywhere near up to date and I can't seem to keep a journal either. So, bear with me while I try to catch up on a whole missing year of our lives.....2009. I have no idea where it went, although I have several memory cards full of pictures that I haven't downloaded either! :) I won't bore you with the little details...well maybe sometimes I will. It all depends on what I find on those memory cards. Here's to a more organized 2010!

Tanner is FIVE!

Wow! It is hard to believe that Tanner is FIVE years old this week! Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that he was a tiny baby. I keep saying to him, "I can't believe my baby is going to be five years old!" Then he says, "Mom, I will always be your baby!!" I had to laugh...but it is true...he will always be my baby. Here's to many fun years ahead little boy! Love you tons.

New Arrival

Here is an updated picture of Sophie....isn't she so stinkin' cute! I can't wait to get my hands on that baby and kiss those yummy cheeks!

Here is the newest arrival in the Jorgensen clan (no not our immediate clan)! Our new little niece, Sophie Noelle, was born yesterday at 1:08 pm Eastern time weighing in at 8lbs 2oz. Gotta love those cheeks!

Here we go again!!! Snow Day #2

As I said in my previous post....snow is a rare thing in Las Vegas. Well, it happened again today. We haven't received as much as we did on Monday, but there is most likely more on the way. I am adding the following link to the paper that said Las Vegas McCarran Airport has officially closed along with most of the roads into and out of Las Vegas. I told Chris to throw the truck into four wheel drive before he heads home! http://www.lvrj.com/news/36335684.html This was the perfect day to stay home and make my pretzels.....but I had to be running kids here and there. But, we are now home for the afternoon and enjoying the snow. The following pictures are from down on the Strip....even when we get snow up here in the "foothills" it rarely snows all across town. Here's a link to the severe weather statement!

SNOW DAY!!!!

Nothing like a little of the "white stuff" to get you in the holiday spirit! Every once in awhile....we get a little snow and today was the day! The kids were at school, but as soon as they got home, the neighborhood descended on our back yard for some snow ball fights. It won't last long...so we must enjoy it while we can.
Not bad for Vegas!

Lexi and Drake.

Even Batman (aka Tanner) enjoys the white stuff!

The whole gang.....Tanner, Parker, Davis, Madison, Grant, Carter and Ben!

Jorgensen Family Reunion

The Jorgensen family reunion was held at the end of July at Bear Lake. The first night we all prepared a dutch oven dish and shared it with the whole group. Scott and Amy prepared the most delicious turkey that they roasted on a special turkey cooker. Here is Grandpa Jay carving up the turkey!

Uncle Burke is always a big hit with the kids (and the adults, too!) Chris bought these blow up tubes (?) and the kids went to town on Uncle Burke!

Our little "fishies" spent hours digging in the sand and playing in the water.
We took our ATV's up to the family reunion. They really came in handy shuttling people back and forth from the reunion to the beach.
